This morning I told my Lord of last night’s dream. And I said to him, “My dear Lord, last night as you slept, I dreamt. And in this dream a woman floated upon a cloud of ash, borne up on draughts of burning air, her face awash with joy. And on the ground, I stood and watched, my face awash with tears. For she was me, and I was her, and there was nowhere we could go.”
