The Hundred And Sixth Dream Of The Waiting Prince

Now today I told my Lord of my dream of the night before. And I said to him, “My dear Lord, last night as you slept, I dreamt. And in this dream, I took the form of a fish, and was caught by the fishing folk above me. And I took the form of a bird, and was shot by the archers below me. And I took the form of a deer, and was hunted by the gamekeepers behind me. And I took the form of a woman, and was trapped from the moment I was born by the world all around.”
