Now this morning I told my Lord of last night’s dream. And I said to him, “My dear Lord, last night as you slept, I dreamt. And this dream was as confounding as any riddle of the Poets, for in it I was sat upon the Widow’s Throne, and before me stood a line of my most honoured suitors. And the first suitor said to me, “You can trust me with your heart, my dear Queen, for unlike these others I shall love only you.” And then the second suitor approached, and said to me, “You can trust me with your heart, my dear Queen, for unlike these others I shall love only you.” And then the third suitor approached, and said to me, “You can trust me with your heart, my dear Queen, for unlike these others I shall love only you.” And then the fourth suitor approached, and said to me, “You can trust me with your heart, my dear Queen, for unlike these others I shall love only you.” And then the fifth suitor approached, and said to me, “You can trust me with your heart, my dear Queen, for unlike these others I shall love only you.” And then the sixth suitor approached, and said to me, “You can trust me with your heart, my dear Queen, for unlike these others I shall love only you.” And then the seventh suitor approached, and said to me, “You can trust me with your heart, my dear Queen, for unlike these others I shall love only you.” And then the eighth suitor approached, and said to me, “You can trust me with your heart, my dear Queen, for unlike these others I shall love only you.” And then the ninth suitor approached, and said to me, “You can trust me with your heart, my dear Queen, for unlike these others I shall love only you.” And then the tenth suitor approached, and said to me, “You can trust me with your heart, my dear Queen, for unlike these others I shall love only you.” And then the eleventh suitor approached, and said to me, “You can trust me with your heart, my dear Queen, for unlike these others I shall love only you.” And then the twelfth suitor approached, and said to me, “You can trust me with your heart, my dear Queen, for unlike these others I shall love only you.” And then the thirteenth suitor approached, and said to me, “You can trust me with your heart, my dear Queen, for unlike these others I shall love only you.”
