The Hundred And Second Dream Of The Waiting Prince

And this morning to my Lord I spoke of last night’s dream. And to him I said, “My dear Lord, last night as you slept, I dreamt. And in this dream, I listened to the Silenced Few, and the Silenced Many, and the Silenced Self. And the Silenced Few sang songs as beautiful as any birds, in languages unknown to me and my many scribes. And the Silenced Many staged plays as moving as any by the poets, in genres unknown to me and my many tutors. And the Silenced Self showed me moves as deft as any dancers, in dimensions unknown to me and my many mathematicians. Yet when I tried to follow their instructions, I found I no longer had the skills to perform them.”
