It used to be you could find an audience on the internet
\nby making stuff for people to look at
\nAnd if they liked it, then maybe
\nthey’d sometimes come back for more<\/p>\n
Now no one looks at anything on the internet at all
\nand they certainly don’t like it<\/p>\n
And the only things that come back for more
\nare the insatiable robots we’ve built
\nthat’ll eat it all up
\neat everything all up
\nagain and again and again<\/p>\n
So they can vomit it back up later
\nhalf misremembered and all incoherent
\nto save us the pain of ever having to see
\nwhat was originally said
\nin its own time
\nand place<\/p>\n
