Two days running
\nI’ve been insulted in the street<\/p>\n

Friday 7th November, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

An eerie village
\nwithout streetlights
\nOr seemingly any lights at all
\nanywhere
\nexcept for the pub<\/p>\n

Monday 10th November, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Off to cornwall tomorrow
\nfor a week
\nin the gloom<\/p>\n

Wednesday 19th November, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Came back to find
\nnew neighbours
\nnext door<\/p>\n

Thursday 20th November, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was cold
\neverywhere I went<\/p>\n

Friday 21st November, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fell down the stairs
\njust before bed
\nThink I might have broken
\nat least a couple of toes<\/p>\n

Saturday 22nd November, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Been hobbling around all day
\ncreaking
\nlike an old broken doll<\/p>\n

Sunday 23rd November, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

There was a good half hour
\nin the middle of Castle In The Sky
\nthat I didn’t remember at all<\/p>\n

Monday 24th November, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Using photoshop on my old computer
\nis an ever increasing chore<\/p>\n

Tuesday 25th November, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

The sparrowhawk swooped down
\na metre in front of me
\nthen swooped off again
\nwithout acknowledging me at all<\/p>\n

Sunday 30th November, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mum and dad put the tree up
\ntoday<\/p>\n

Monday 1st December, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today
\nwas kind of
\nmiserable<\/p>\n

The new Candyman
\nwasn’t as good
\nas the old Candyman<\/p>\n

There were lots of squirrels
\nin Castle Park
\nConstant motion
\nin every possible direction<\/p>\n

Everything
\neverywhere
\nwas grey
\nall day<\/p>\n

A spider sitting
\nexpectantly
\non the toilet roll<\/p>\n

The christmas tree in the park
\nlooked a little forlorn
\nand slightly alone<\/p>\n

Thursday 11th December, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

A couple more weeks
\nand I can give up keeping
\na diary<\/p>\n

Friday 12th December, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Went christmas shopping
\nand did not go mad<\/p>\n

Saturday 13th December, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wrapped some presents up
\nwithout getting too frustrated
\nwith my own ineptitude<\/p>\n

Sunday 14th December, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

I keep seeing
\na sparrowhawk
\nround here<\/p>\n

I would gladly let it
\neat me<\/p>\n
