Coughing
\nspluttering<\/p>\n

I should try
\nsomething
\nat some point<\/p>\n

But instead I try
\nnothing
\nat all<\/p>\n

Thursday 4th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Coughing again<\/p>\n

Friday 5th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

This diary
\nhas been
\na failure<\/p>\n

Saturday 6th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Blistered thumbs
\nfrom playing Silksong
\ntoo much<\/p>\n

Sunday 7th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

There was a lunar eclipse
\nhidden
\nbehind endless clouds<\/p>\n

Tuesday 9th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was hot
\nand there were squirrels in the park
\nlooking pretty pleased
\nwith all the acorns
\non the ground
\nand in their paws<\/p>\n

Wednesday 10th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

My pen is running out<\/p>\n

Thursday 11th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

There was one single burst of thunder
\nand that was it<\/p>\n

Friday 12th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nearly finished Silksong (I think).<\/p>\n

Everything left to do is
\nimpossibly hard
\nand not much
\nfun<\/p>\n

Saturday 13th Septmeber, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Strange lumps
\nand cuts
\non my fingers today<\/p>\n

Sunday 14th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

So cold today
\nI shivered
\nfor two hours
\nstraight<\/p>\n

Monday 15th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was windy. I stayed indoors<\/p>\n

Tuesday 16th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Silksong just goes on and on. I’m not sure if this a good thing
\nor not<\/p>\n

Thursday 18th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another day where I have
\nnothing to say
\nabout anything
\nat all<\/p>\n

Saturday 20th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Silksong loses all momentum in the final act
\nbegins to feel
\nlike a slightly joyless slog<\/p>\n

Monday 22nd September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

The elegance of an egret
\nimpresses me
\nagain<\/p>\n

Tuesday 23rd September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

I saw a crow
\nflying up high
\nand dropping walnuts
\nin the road<\/p>\n

Thursday 25th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just the final boss in silksong left to do
\nafter nearly a month
\nand a hundred hours
\nand more<\/p>\n

Saturday 27th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Still can’t beat that final bloody boss<\/p>\n

Sunday 28th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two crows on the roof
\nfeathers fluffed up so much
\nthey look almost
\nround<\/p>\n

Monday 29th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

A black and white cat
\nsurrounded by magpies
\nseemingly curious as to whether
\nit’s one of their own<\/p>\n

(Also finally finished Silksong today)<\/p>\n

Tuesday 30th September, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Egrets and cormorants
\non the river
\nin weather that felt like spring<\/p>\n
