Its nice
\nand strangely spacious
\nafter 11 years
\nof the old furniture

At the park
\na swan
\nfor the first time in years<\/p>\n

Friday 4th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

The sun was out
\nand we sat a robin
\nbuilding itself a nest
\nand looking quite happy
\nwith itself<\/p>\n

Saturday 5th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sunny day
\nearly birthday party
\nCould have been summer
\nnearly<\/p>\n

Sunday 6th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Easter eggs in the garden
\na full two weeks
\nbefore easter
\n(eggs
\nin the garden)<\/p>\n

Monday 7th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ruins
\nof old castle
\nhave been ruins
\nfor hundreds of years longer
\nthan they were castles<\/p>\n

Tuesday 8th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Crabs
\nin a bucket
\nlooking lost
\nforlorn
\nfurious
\nfrightened
\nalone<\/p>\n

Wednesday 9th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

A tiny train station
\nin an Essex cul de sac
\nas if it was a private platform
\nfor two random families<\/p>\n

Thursday 10th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bookcases
\nand shelves
\nback on my walls<\/p>\n

I almost feel
\nhome
\nagain<\/p>\n

Friday 11th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

A moon rising
\nabove the hill
\nas bright as any sun<\/p>\n

Monday 14th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

I want to be moved
\nbut mostly
\nfeel bored<\/p>\n

Tuesday 15th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some times I have ideas that I know years ago I’d have done something with. But now I just allow them to fade away unmade<\/p>\n

Wednesday 16th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Depressed
\nand sick
\nand more tired
\nthan I will probably truly ever know<\/p>\n

Thursday 17th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today
\nwas mostly
\nquite a nice
\nday<\/p>\n

Friday 18th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

The water
\nleaks
\nendlessly
\nthrough unseen
\ngaps<\/p>\n

There is no stopping it
\nno matter how much
\nyou try<\/p>\n

Saturday 19th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

The sea is too bright
\ntoo wide
\ntoo frighteningly deep<\/p>\n

Tuesday 29th April, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

A spot under the hair on the back of my head
\nfeels
\nastonishingly huge
\nyet in reality
\nis barely even there<\/p>\n

Wednesday 30th April<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today I spent almost all of my money (on a new laptop)
