“The new rooms!”<\/p>\n

“What new rooms?”<\/p>\n

“The old new rooms!”<\/p>\n

“They’ve gone, Mum!”<\/p>\n

“Gone? Gone where?”<\/p>\n

“Just gone.”<\/p>\n

“Completely gone!”<\/p>\n

“There’s not even a door there any more!”<\/p>\n

“Just a door shaped gap in the wallpaper!”<\/p>\n

“It’s like the lodger was never here!”<\/p>\n

“Well that’s weird. And a bit worrying, I have to say. But what’s that got to do with Claire?”<\/p>\n

“Claire’s furious!”<\/p>\n

“Really furious!”<\/p>\n

“Furious even for Claire!”<\/p>\n

“She’s stamping her feet!”<\/p>\n

“And screaming!”<\/p>\n

“And blaming the lodger!”<\/p>\n

“Again!”<\/p>\n

“I don’t think we can blame the… the… I don’t think we can blame that man<\/em> this time.”<\/p>\n

“She wanted those rooms for herself, Mum!”<\/p>\n

“But the lodger took them!”<\/p>\n

“She wanted them so bad and now she’s not going to get them at all!”<\/p>\n

“Ever!”<\/p>\n

“Well you don’t all have to sound so pleased about it…”<\/p>\n
