In One Week<\/em>, Buster Keaton builds a house. Hijinks ensue.<\/p>\n

This is a pretty amiable Buster Keaton film, and I enjoyed it a lot, although I definitely preferred The Scarecrow<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That’s my entire review. I’m not really sure that was worth a two month wait, now, was it?<\/p>\n

Notes<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> I watched this on youtube here<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Although that version has a soundtrack which sounds like it should be from a snow level on a Mario game<\/em><\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> So I’d maybe suggest finding another version if you can.<\/em><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> This film also features an early version of the house falling on Buster Keaton gag (see first picture above).<\/em><\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> Although the more famous version of it is this one<\/a>, in Steamboat Bill Jr., from 1928.<\/em><\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> Which was then remade<\/a> by Steve McQueen in 1997 <\/em><\/p>\n

7.<\/strong> And which was first version I saw<\/em><\/p>\n

8.<\/strong> So now I’ve seen all three versions of it, I suppose<\/em><\/p>\n

9.<\/strong> In reverse chronological order<\/em><\/p>\n

10.<\/strong> Slowly<\/em><\/p>\n

11.<\/strong> Over the course of my entire adult life<\/em><\/p>\n
